MEET OUR TRAINERS
Specializing in speed training, fitness training, basketball and football, DeKalb County alum Byron Dickerson lives and breathes sports. Participating in both basketball and football, this two-sport athlete used his focus and discipline to propel himself into a three-year arena football career post college. Beyond the field, Byron has five years of coaching and training experience as a certified trainer.
Born and raised in Decatur, GA Dimario (DJ) Jones has been involved in sports his entire life. After graduating from Columbia High School, DJ continued his football career at Albany State University finishing with a SAIC football championship and a degree in Business Management. A true multi-sport student athlete, DJ has experience with and specializes in football, baseball, speed training and track & field.
Homegrown athlete Dexter Sanford hails from Atlanta and is a proud product of Mundy's Mill High School. A strong runner, Dexter was able to secure a full scholarship in track to Alabama A&M where he studied sports management and received his master’s in nutrition. Passionate about educating others on living a healthier lifestyle, Dexter uses his skills and knowledge to build athletes in the areas of track & field and fitness.
Tre’Quan “Tre” Alston is an AAAI-ISMA certified master trainer with over three years of experience specializing in speed, agility and weightlifting. The former Catawba College wide receiver customizes his training to meet the needs of each client. Even in the group setting, every session feels like a one-on-one. The sign of a true master trainer is the ability to activate and engage not only muscles but people.
Stephen “Stro” Stroman specializes in training athletes to become top notch wide receivers. Focusing on speed and agility, Stro builds players ready to compete at any level. The former Fort Valley State University wide receiver has over four years of high school coaching experience that he brings to the turf to build beginners and fine tune skilled wide receivers alike.
Former NFL and Alabama A&M defensive end Anthony “Spoon” Lanier uses his years of collegiate and professional experience to help build the strength and endurance of his clients. Spoon emphasizes quality over quantity by focusing on proper technique above all else. Not only concerned with technique while training, he also believes recovery is just as important.
Celebrity strength and conditioning coach Sam Taylor has over 8 years of experience delivering results. Utilizing his bachelor’s degree in biology from Alabama A&M University, Sam relies heavily on scientifically proven techniques to build and maintain muscle while losing body fat. His functional training style optimizes the body’s movement patterns and prevents injuries. This self-proclaimed “King of Abs” also incorporates exercises that challenge core stability.
